Robin Nolet has done it again, this time with a murder mystery set in a small town in Colorado. Fun characters, an adorable puppy, and a handsome landscaper all help Kay Conroy, single mom turned amateur detective, try to solve a case when all the evidence points to her. This is a page-turning read told with humor that makes for a perfect summer read! I highly recommend it!
Good character development, enjoyed how quirky friends Kay and Maddey interacted and some of the mischief they got themselves into.
Definitely recommend.
I enjoyed the book very much. I'm one who loves a good mystery, and it kept me wondering who did it until almost the end.
Did you ever purchase a book and then have to wait to read it because life got so crazy? This happened to me with this book, but it was so worth the wait. I love the wonderfully clever and funny writing style that this author incorporates into her stories, but I also greatly appreciate how she weaves her storyline toward such an endearing and satisfying conclusion. This was one of those books that I just couldn't put down!
